ABOUT JUDGE KEVIN GRAY

Judge Gray is running for re-election as District Judge in the 14th Judicial District of Oklahoma. Judge Gray has dedicated his career to public service, fairness, and protecting the safety of Oklahoma families.  During the past four years on the bench, Judge Gray is the only Tulsa County judge to preside over jury trials in all major case types - criminal felony, youthful offender, juvenile deprived, and civil cases - in the last four years.  He was recognized by the Oklahoma Indian Child Welfare Association as its "Judge of the Year" in 2025.  Under Judge Gray's leadership, the largest ICWA docket in the United States set the pace in Oklahoma with the shortest time between removal and permanency for vulnerable children in DHS custody.

Judge Gray served as an Assistant District Attorney for Tulsa County for more than 11 years, including serving as Director of the Tulsa County Homicide Unit. During his career, he led prosecutions in some of the most serious and high-profile murder cases in Tulsa County history, earning a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and courtroom leadership.

A proud product of Tulsa Public Schools, he graduated from Booker T. Washington High School before attending the University of Tulsa as a Presidential Scholar, where he double majored in History and Political Science.

Judge Gray later earned a Master of Public Service Administration from the Bush School at Texas A&M University before returning home to Tulsa to attend the University of Tulsa College of Law.

Outside of the courtroom, Judge Gray enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and their house full of pets.
